The Lewis and Ina Newton Memorial Scholarship supports Tarleton State University students as they pursue their postsecondary education, with particular consideration for graduates of Cross Plains High School in Texas. Students studying agriculture, education, or engineering are encouraged to apply. If there are no qualified applicants from Cross Plains High School, the scholarship will be open to any fully admitted TSU students.
