The Linda C. Blehm Memorial Scholarship supports hard-working deaf or hard-of-hearing residents of Virginia who demonstrate the potential to succeed in college and their future careers. Eligible applicants of any age who are seeking an associate or bachelor's degree within the U.S. are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students or graduates of the Virginia School for the Deaf and the Blind in Staunton, Virginia, followed by other Virginia deaf institutions, and local deaf or hard of hearing students in Staunton, Waynesboro, or Augusta County, Virginia.

  • High school senior, undergraduate student, on academic break, or not currently enrolled
  • Seeking an associate or bachelor's degree
  • Attending or planning to attend school in the U.S. Preference given, in order of choice, to a student/graduate of 1. Virginia School of the Deaf and Blind (VSDB), 2. another deaf or hard of hearing institution in Virginia, 3. deaf or hard of hearing students at any high school, public or priviate in Staunton, Waynesboro, or Augusta County.
