The Lipsky-Whittaker LGBTQ Scholarship is awarded to students from the New Bedford area in Massachusetts who are enrolled in or accepted to a two- or four-year college or university. Students who identify as LGBTQ+, have demonstrated a commitment to addressing issues of homophobia or LGBTQ+ inequality in their schools or communities, and/or have been raised in LGBTQ+ households are encouraged to apply.
