The Local Community Science Scholarship is awarded to seniors attending a high school in Lynn, Salem, Peabody, Danvers, Beverly, or Gloucester in Massachusetts. Students must be planning to enroll as a full-time student attending a four-year college or university to pursue a STEM degree. Students eligible for free/reduced lunch or are the first in their family to go to college are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Resident of Essex County, Beverly, Gloucester, Lynn, Peabody, or Salem, Massachusetts

High school senior

Seeking a bachelor's degree

Pursuing studies in biology, biochemistry, chemistry, environmental science, engineering, math, or physics and have completed one upperlevel, advanced STEM classes in high school

Fulltime student

Aged 18 or older

Eligible for free/reduced lunch **OR**

Firstgeneration college student

Demonstrate financial need
