Requirements
  • This program is open to women who are residents of or attending community college in Los Angeles County.
  • Applicants must be currently enrolled in an associate degree program and planning to prepare for a career in a field related to transportation (e.g., transportation engineering, planning, finance, logistics).
  • They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Minority women are especially encouraged to apply.
  • Selection is based on transportation career goals, academic record, commitment to transportation as demonstrated by extracurricular activities and/or work experience, writing skills, and a recommendation.
