This program is open to Latinx seniors graduating from high schools in any state and planning to enroll at any 2- or 4-year college, university, or community college.
Applicants must submit essays of 1,000 words each on 1) how the challenges and adversity they have faced have influenced their actions and goals; and 2) how they incorporate the sponsor's guiding principles of cultural awareness, academic excellence, and community service into their everyday life and how those shape them as a person.
Essays may be submitted in Spanish, and U.S. citizenship is not required.
They must also submit documentary evidence of financial need and proof that they have applied for at least 1 other scholarship.
