Requirements
  • This program is open to enrolled LBST members who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 2.0 or higher and apply for a federal Pell Grant, even though they do not qualify for needbased financial aid.
  • In the selection process, first priority is given to students living on or near the Lower Brule reservation in Lyman County, South Dakota; second to residents of South Dakota; third to residents of other states.
