Requirements

This program is open to 1) direct lineal descendants of crew members aboard the USS Emmons when it was destroyed on April 6, 1945, during the battle of Okinawa; and 2) direct lineal descendants of siblings of childless crew members of the USS Emmons when it was lost.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll as fulltime undergraduate or graduate students.
