LTC Michael Warren Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to students at colleges and universities in Arizona who have a connection to the National Guard and the National Guard Association of Arizona (NGAAZ).

Requirements

This program is open to full-time students at Arizona colleges, universities, and community colleges.

Applicants must be a member of 1 of the following categories: 1) a current enlisted member of the Arizona National Guard; 2) a current officer member of the Arizona National Guard who is also a member of the NGAAZ, or 3) a child or spouse of an NGAAZ member.

Applicants must submit 2 letters of recommendation and verification of good standing from the first commander in the chain of command of the Arizona National Guard.

Selection is based on GPA (25%), community service (15%), letters of recommendation (15%), knowledge of National Guard philosophy (15%), and financial need (30%).
