Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in Washington whose adviser is a member of the Washington Journalism Education Association (WJEA).
  • Applicants must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and a record of significant contributions to their school's journalism program.
  • They must be planning to study journalism and/or mass communications at a college or university in any state and prepare for a career in those fields.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
