Lucas Eibel Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Oregon who are attending a community college in the state to prepare for a career in the water environment field.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Oregon who have completed at least 1 year of full-time study at a community college in the state.
  • Applicants must be planning to work on an associate degree in a field related to the water environment or transfer to a 4year institution and complete a bachelor's degree in such a field.
  • They must be U.S. citizens.
  • Selection is based on that essay, academic potential, extracurricular activities, letters of recommendation, and experience pertaining to or related to the water or wastewater field.
  • Preference is given to students at Umpqua Community College.
