Maine Christmas Tree Association Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and current college students who have a tie to the Maine Christmas Tree Association (MCTA) and are interested in Christmas tree farming.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Maine who are graduating high school seniors or students currently enrolled at a 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • Applicants should have experience on a Christmas tree farm or come from a family currently an MCTA member.
  • Preference is given to those who have been involved in the Christmas tree industry in some form and/or those interested in a career in natural resources.
  • They must submit a letter of intent that includes why they are applying, their interest in the industry, their financial problems (if any), prior experience, and career goals.
