Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Maine who are interested in preparing for a career in manufacturing, including engineering, machining technology, manufacturing technology, mechanical engineering, sheet metal fabrication, welding, etc.
  • Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a college or university in Maine.
  • Selection is based on high school and/or college academic and extracurricular records; personal qualities of positive attitude, selfmotivated initiative, seriousness of intent, and overall impression; and proven attitude or demonstrated ability in precision machining technology, manufacturing technology, welding, or engineering.
