About the Scholarship

The Maine Veterans Dependents Educational Benefit Scholarship provides financial assistance to dependents of U.S. Armed Service veterans who were KIA, died from a service-connected disability as a result of service, at the time of death was totally and permanently disabled due to a service-connected, or was a POW/MIA. Students pursuing an undergraduate degree are welcome to apply.
