The Major David L. Carter Scholarship program awards need- and merit-based scholarships to graduating seniors from Central High School in Georgia who are JROTC cadets. Students who demonstrate a "maximum emphasis on everything" by being well-rounded students are encouraged to apply. JROTC cadets who have participated in the program for 2 or more years during their high school career receive special consideration.

Requirements

JROTC cadet

Minimum 3.0 GPA

Graduating senior from Central High School in Macon, Georgia

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree as a fulltime student

Participate in extracurricular activities and community service

Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to JROTC cadets who have participated in the program for 2 or more years during their high school career.
