The Manuel Esteban Sr. Aspiring Tenor Scholarship supports first-time freshmen and new transfer students (primary recruitment) and continuing students (retention) planning to attend or attending California State University, Chico. Students studying music and demonstrating vocal talent are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given first to outstanding tenor vocalists, and if no qualified tenor is available, then to classical bass vocalists.
