Marilyn Kay Maynard AISLE Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Association of Illinois School Library Educators (AISLE) who are interested in working on an undergraduate or graduate degree to complete licensure as an Illinois school librarian.

Requirements

This program is open to AISLE members who are residents of Illinois and enrolled at a college or university in the state that has been approved for its undergraduate or graduate education program by the American Library Association (ALA) or the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (formerly the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education).

Applicants must be planning to gain certification to work in Illinois schools as a teacher librarian.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
