The Marvin and Eleanor Blick Scholarship recognizes students dedicated to finding a cure for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Students who participate in extracurricular activities and are seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Graduates of Hopewell and Prince George high schools in Virginia receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.00 GPA
  • Resident of the Foundation's service area (Charles City, Chesterfield, Colonial Heights, Dinwiddie, Fort Lee, Hopewell, Petersburg, Prince George, Surry, Sussex, or Varina), Virginia
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree full or parttime
  • Studying in a field of medicine relevant to the treatment of Alzheimer's, dementia, and related illnesses
  • Participation in extracurricular activities
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to applicants who are pursuing a career devoted to finding a cure for Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. Additional consideration is provided to graduates of Hopewell or Prince George high schools in Virginia.
