The Marvin Brown Scholarship is awarded to graduates or graduating seniors of a Central Ohio high school who are pursuing a bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or advertising. In the selection process, graduates of high schools in Franklin County are considered first and students from surrounding counties receive secondary consideration. Students who have participated in extracurricular activities and/or community service are encouraged to apply.

  • Minimum 2.9 GPA
  • Graduating senior or graduate of high schools in Central Ohio
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, communications, and/or journalism
  • Participated in community service and/or extracurricular activities The first preference is given to graduates of high schools in Franklin County, Ohio and the second preference is given to graduates in surrounding counties.
