The Marvin L. Smith Scholarship is offered to students who are CEHA members, or the children or spouses of CEHA members. Students who are pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in biological sciences, public health, or an environmental-related field. Special consideration is given to undergraduate students who desire to work in Connecticut, preferably in a career aligned with the CEHA mission, and who are first-time recipients.

  • Member of Connecticut Environmental Health Association (CEHA), or their child or spouse
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • Undergraduate or graduate student
  • Seeking a bachelor's or graduate degree full or parttime
  • Studying environmental, public health, or biological sciences
  • Participation in community service Preference is given to undergraduate students who desire to work in Connecticut, preferably in a career aligned with the CEHA mission, and who are firsttime recipients.
