Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Texas and Oklahoma who are graduating high school seniors planning to enroll at an accredited university in their state.
  • Applicants must be majoring in agriculture or a related field (e.g., agribusiness, animal science, preveterinary, range management, wildlife).
  • They must have a GPA of 2.75 or higher and be able to demonstrate financial need.
  • Their background must include beef cattle production.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Applicants must be members, children of members, or sponsored by a member of the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA).
  • Special consideration is given to students who are the first member of their families to attend college.
