The Mary E Bivins Religious Scholarship supports individuals who wish to pursue a bachelor's or master's degree to preach in the Christian religion. Individuals must have a strong inward call or desire toward religion. Consideration is also given to individuals who intend to be a vocational Christian ministry in a church such as biblical counseling, discipleship minister, or similar.

  • Resident of the northmost 26 counties of the Texas panhandle

  • U.S citizen or permanent resident Preference is given to individuals who intend to serve as pulpit preachers/pastors or be college, youth, or children's pastors.
