Mary I. Fitzgerald Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who are employees or children of employees of firms that are members of the Iowa Grocery Industry Association (IGIA) and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Iowa who are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at a college or university in any state.
  • Applicants must be 1) children of fulltime employees of IGIA member firms who have been employed for at least 2 years; or 2) full- or part-time employees of member firms who have worked at least 300 hours during the preceding 6 months.
  • Some scholarships are reserved for families or employees of a sponsoring grocery.
