The Mary Lou Lukhard Nursing Scholarship is available to residents of Central Virginia who are pursuing a nursing career. Students who are graduating high school seniors from Charles or Richmond City, or the counties of Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, or Powhatan in Virginia are welcome to apply. This scholarship is also available to high school graduates and adult learners in the metro-Richmond area.

Requirements
  • Graduating senior of a high school in Charles or Richmond City, or the counties of Chesterfield, Goochland, Hanover, Henrico, New Kent, or Powhatan in Virginia **or**
  • Recent high school graduate under the age of 21 who is currently enrolled or plans to enroll in a nursing program or an adult learner over the age of 21
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in nursing in the continental U.S.
  • Participate in community service
  • Exhibit academic achievement
