Requirements

This program is open to residents of Delaware, Maryland, and the District of Columbia who is high school seniors, high school graduates, or GED recipients.

Applicants must be enrolled or planning to enroll fulltime at a vocational/technical school or other 2-year educational institution in any state to work on a degree or certificate other than a bachelor's degree.

Their application must be endorsed by an official of their local Elks Lodge.

Selection is based on student goals, grades, extracurricular activities, and letters of recommendation.

U.S. citizenship is required.

Males and females are judged separately.
