The Matthew Shepard Memorial Scholarship provides financial assistance for college to high school seniors who identify as LGBTQIA+. Students who are planning to attend a vocational school, college, or university in the U.S. are welcome to apply.

Minimum 3.00 GPA

Resident of the U.S.

High school senior

Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree

Planning to attend school in the U.S.

U.S. citizen or legal resident

Asexual, bisexual, gay, genderqueer, intersex, lesbian, nonbinary, prefer to selfidentify, transgender, transgender female to male, transgender male to female, or two-spirit

Demonstrated leadership in promoting diversity and understanding in the community
