The McFarlane Family International Travel and Research Endowment is available to students at Appalachian State University who are active in the Watauga Residential College and participating in a university-sponsored study abroad trip or semester abroad. Eligible students must have completed twelve semester hours of Investigations coursework and be enrolled in a research project related to their study abroad experience, under the mentorship of a WRC faculty member.
