Requirements

This program is open to licensed radio amateurs of technician class or higher who are enrolled at an accredited 2- or 4-year college or university in any state.

Applicants must be preparing for a career in the healing arts, including (but not limited to) dentistry, emergency medical technician, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, radiology technician, or veterinary medicine.

They must be able to describe how they have engaged in volunteer and/or public service activities making use of amateur radio.

Preference is given to undergraduates and those in certificate programs, but graduate students may apply.
