Requirements
  • This program is open to 1) children of employees of MFDA member companies who are entering their freshman year of college; and 2) employees of NFDA member companies who are working at least 20 hours and taking 6 or more credits per semester at an accredited college or university.
  • Children of employees must submit transcripts that include ACT and/or SAT scores, 2 letters of recommendation, a letter of acceptance from a college, and a 500word essay on their reason for applying for this scholarship.
  • Employees must submit transcripts, a letter of acceptance, 2 letters of recommendation, and a 250word essay on their reason for applying for this scholarship.
  • In the selection process, financial need is considered a secondary factor.
