The Meyerhoff Scholars Program is offered to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a Ph.D. or combined M.D./Ph.D. in the sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics. Special consideration is given to students who have taken advanced placement courses in math and science, have research experience, and have strong references from science or math instructors, with stronger consideration given to students interested in the Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (over the M.D.).

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA, 600 on the Math component of the SAT, or an ACT composite score of 24
  • Resident of the U.S.
  • High school senior
  • Seeking a bachelor's degree in the STEM field, with plans to pursue a Ph.D. or combined M.D./Ph.D.
  • U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Participate in community service
