MFPE Scholarship provides financial assistance to members of the Montana Federation of Public Employees (MFPE) and their children who are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to students at accredited 2- or 4-year colleges and universities in any state who are members of the MFPE or whose parent or guardian is a member.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a program leading to a degree or certificate and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Members must be enrolled at least halftime in an undergraduate or graduate program.
  • Children of members must be unmarried and younger than 25 years of age.
  • All applicants must submit a 1 to 2-page personal statement on why collective bargaining is important, what MFPE means to them and/or their families, and how this scholarship will affect them personally.
  • Selection is based on academic achievement, community involvement, extracurricular activity, and financial need.
