MI NAHRO Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and adults who live in publicly-assisted housing in Michigan and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements
  • This program is open to high school seniors and adults who are residents of a housing unit or participants in a rental assistance program administered by a member agency of the Michigan Chapter of the National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO).
  • Applicants must be planning to enroll or (for adults) already enrolled at an accredited 2 or 4-year college or university in any state.
  • Their household annual income must be at or below 80% of the area median income for family size.
  • High school seniors must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • All applicants must submit an essay, up to 2 pages in length, on their goals and commitment to continuing education.
