The Michael Baker International Iraq Survivors Scholarship is available to graduating seniors or high school diploma or GED students who are residents of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Cumberland, Dauphin, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Washington, or Westmoreland counties, Pennsylvania, and are children and spouses of U.S. service members who are currently in active service or have served previously in any U.S. war. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree are eligible to apply.

Requirements
  • Child or spouse of a current or previous U.S. Armed Service member who served previously in any U.S. war dating back to the Iraq War, which began in 2003
  • Minimum 2.80 GPA
  • Resident of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Cumberland, Dauphin, Montgomery, Philadelphia, Washington, or Westmoreland counties, Pennsylvania
  • High school senior or undergraduate student
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree
  • Plan to attend a vocational or technical trade school OR 2or 4-year college or university
