The Michael Gordon Burgos Memorial Scholarship is awarded to graduating seniors or graduates of a high school in Camarillo, Fillmore, Ojai, Oxnard, Port Hueneme, Santa Paula, Somis, or Ventura, California. High school seniors or undergraduates seeking a professional certificate, associate, or bachelor's degree are welcome to apply. Special consideration is given to students studying in any healing arts field, demonstrating interest in environmental protection/preservation, volunteering in local health or human benefit programs, or to students participating in basketball or tennis.
