The Midwest Chapter AIST Material Advantage Scholarship is available to members of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology or their dependents, and members of the Material Advantage Student Program in the Midwest Member Chapter area. Students pursuing careers in materials science or the iron and steel industry are encouraged to apply.

Requirements

Member of the Association for Iron and Steel Technology, or their dependent, or a student member through the Material Advantage Student Program, within the Midwest Member Chapter area

Resident of the U.S.

High school senior, college freshman, sophomore, or junior

Seeking a bachelor's degree fulltime

Attending or planning to attend school in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin

Prepare for a career in the iron and steel industry

Participation in extracurricular activities, leadership, or work

Proven academic achievement
