The Miklos Family Trust Fund #1 is for students at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. Applicants should be either juniors or seniors or on a leave of absence doing research after completion of the first two years of medical school. The scholarship was created as a memorial to Michael V. Miklos, M.D. He was a dedicated doctor who established a one-man Department of Neurosurgery at McKeesport Hospital because he felt that his hometown was in need of a neurosurgeon. Students who were born, raised, and are residing in the western Pennsylvania region receive special consideration.

Requirements
  • Attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine
