Requirements

This program is open to residents of Virginia who are members or relatives of members of the Virginia Mayflower Society and are interested in attending college or graduate school in any state.

Applicants must be high school seniors or home school equivalent, undergraduates, or graduate students younger than 26 years of age and sponsored by a current teacher, counselor, or member of the society.

They must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Selection is based on academic record, and a resume, but primarily on the essay.
