Requirements

Nominations may be submitted by more than 500 high schools in Los Angeles County, New York City, and Washington, D.C. Nominees must 1) have a GPA of 3.6 (unweighted) or higher in all academic high school subject areas; 2) be able to demonstrate financial need; 3) have a record of active participation in community service activities; 4) have been admitted to a 4-year college or university prior to final selection; 5) have a record of leadership; and 6) be U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or DACA students.
