Minnesota Hockey Disabled Scholarship provides financial assistance to residents of Minnesota who have participated in Minnesota Disabled Hockey and wish to attend college or other personal growth and development activities.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of Minnesota who have participated in a Disabled Hockey program of an affiliate association of Minnesota Hockey.
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a postsecondary institution or engage in other personal growth and development activities.
  • As part of their application, they must include information on how they plan to use the scholarship, the number of years they have played disabled hockey, participation in a community activity or volunteer work during the past 4 years, extracurricular activities, and hobbies and interests.
  • They must also submit a letter on why they are applying for the scholarship, their contributions to their team or organization, and the significance of hockey in their personal development.
  • Financial need is not considered in the selection process.
