Minnesota Social Service Association Diversity Scholarship provides financial assistance to students from diverse backgrounds who are enrolled in an undergraduate program in the health and human services field at a college in the upper Midwest.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of any state entering their junior or senior year at a college or university in Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.

Applicants must be working full time on a degree in the health and human services field and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

They must be from a diverse background, which may be along the dimensions of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, age, physical ability, religion, or other ideology.

Financial need is considered in the selection process.
