The Miriam A. Steel Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors in Pennsylvania who are interested in working on an undergraduate degree in a field related to gardening. Children or dependents of a member of the Garden Club Federation of Pennsylvania are encouraged to apply. Special consideration is given to students who are members of the High School Gardener Club, FFA, 4-H, or Scout group.

  • Studying agriculture, agronomy, floriculture, horticulture, landscape architecture, botany, biology, conservation, environmental concerns, forestry, plant pathology, city planning, land management, or wildlife science
  • Demonstrate financial need Preference is given to students who are members of the High School Gardener Club, FFA, 4H, or Scout group.
