Requirements
  • This program is open to students who are enrolled at a technical or community college in a degree program that benefits and supports the water industry (e.g., water operations, science, engineering).
  • Applicants must submit a 1page essay describing their career objectives and how this scholarship will enhance their ability for professional development and bring value to the water industry.
  • Preference is given to applicants who 1) are members or whose parents are members of the Minnesota AWWA section; 2) work for or whose parents work for a utility member of the Minnesota AWWA section; 3) are actively involved or whose parents are actively involved in the Minnesota AWWA section; 4) can demonstrate outstanding academic achievement; or 5) are involved in student chapters, professional societies, research, and/or summer work in waterrelated fields.
