Mollie Butler and J.D. Orear Scholarship provides financial assistance to high school seniors and currently-enrolled undergraduate and graduate students who have experience with Welsh ponies or cobs and are studying an equine or related field.

Requirements

This program is open to U.S. citizens who are graduating high school seniors, undergraduate students, or graduate students working on or planning to work on a degree in an equine or related field.

Applicants must submit a 1page essay that describes their experience with Welsh Pony and/or cobs as well as their plan to continue to be involved with equines in the future.

Selection is based on the student's academic record, extracurricular activities, communityrelated activities, and equine-related activities.

Financial need is not considered.
