Requirements

This program is open to residents of Montana who are entering their freshman year at a college or university in any state.

Applicants must have been involved with golf sometime (on a high school team or in a junior program), and have an official handicap issued by the Montana State Golf Association (MSGA) conferring membership in the organization.

They must submit transcripts that include ACT and/or SAT scores, information on their high school golf playing record, amateur playing record, leadership positions, activities and organizations, community and volunteer service, and honors and awards.

They must also submit a brief essay on their career aspirations and how they hope to achieve those life goals.

Neither financial need nor skill in golf are considered in the selection process.
