Montgomery Area Chapter MOAA Scholarship provides financial assistance for college in any state to high school seniors in the area served by the Montgomery Area Chapter of the Military Officers Association of America (MAC MOAA) in Alabama, especially those with affiliation to the military.

Requirements
  • This program is open to seniors graduating from high schools in the area served by MAC MOAA (Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery counties in Alabama).
  • Applicants must be planning to attend a college or university in any state.
  • They must have at least 75% of their school's perfect GPA. Along with their application, they must submit transcripts that include ACT and/or SAT scores and a 150word essay on why they wish to apply for this scholarship.
  • Special consideration is given to applicants who are dependents or grandchildren of military members, including active duty, National Guard, Reserve, retired, or honorably/medically discharged.
