The Morehead-Cain Scholarship for Out-of-State Residents is a merit-based award for out-of-state students who are nominated by their high school counselor or administrative staff member, or who apply to UNC through Early Action and are referred by the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill are eligible for consideration for this award.
