Morgan-Sanders Endowed Scholarship provides financial assistance to students in Kansas who are working on an undergraduate or graduate degree in nursing at a school in the state.

Requirements

This program is open to residents of Kansas who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The award is given according to the following priorities, in descending order: 1) R.N.s working on a B.S.N. degree; 2) graduate students in nursing education, nursing administration, or adult education programs (with priority given to master's and then doctoral level); 3) nonacademic nursing or nursing-related programs leading to a certificate; 4) students enrolled in undergraduate B.S.N. programs; and 5) students enrolled in undergraduate A.D.N. programs.

Students enrolled in graduate or certificate program preparation for clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, nurse midwives, and nurse anesthetists are not eligible.

They must be enrolled in at least 6 hours per semester, but preference is given to fulltime students.

U.S. citizenship is required.
