Mountain Home Officers' Spouses' Club Scholarship provides financial assistance to students who have a tie to Mountain Home Air Force Base in Elmore County, Idaho, and are interested in attending college in any state.

Requirements

This program is open to high school seniors, current college undergraduates, and vocational students who have a GPA of 3.0 or higher and are enrolled or planning to enroll full-time at an accredited college or university in any state.

Applicants must be the dependent child or ward of 1 of the following categories of sponsors: 1) activeduty military personnel stationed PCS at Mountain Home AFB; 2) active-duty military personnel stationed PCS other than Mountain Home AFB but the child resides in the local area (Boise and other communities of the Treasure Valley of Idaho); 3) deceased or retired military personnel who reside with the child in the local area; or 4) military officially listed as POW or MIA if the child resides in the local area with a parent or guardian.

They must submit college transcripts and/or high school transcripts that include SAT and/or ACT scores, verification of eligibility, 2 letters of recommendation, and an essay of 500 to 700 words on an assigned topic that changes annually.
