MPSC Scholarship provides financial assistance for college or graduates school in any state to spouses and dependent children of active and retired military personnel in the Colorado Springs area of Colorado.

Requirements
  • This program is open to residents of the Colorado Springs area of Colorado, defined as the area within a 40-mile radius of Fort Carson.
  • Applicants must have at least 1 parent or sponsor assigned to a military installation in the area.
  • Parents or sponsors who are retired military must reside in the area.
  • Applications are accepted in the following categories: 1) high school senior; 2) dependent undergraduate (continuing); 3) spouse undergraduate; 4) advanced degree (dependent or spouse); or 5) certification (dependent or spouse).
  • All applicants must submit an essay of 500 words or less on a topic that changes annually but relates to their personal achievements.
  • They must enroll fulltime, or part-time spouses, at a college or university in any state and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Special consideration is given to members and dependents of members of the Mountain Post Spouses Club (MPSC).
