The Mrs. Royce E. "Petey" Wisenbaker Presidential Honors Scholarship is available to incoming freshmen students who are planning to attend Tyler Junior College. Students seeking a professional certification, associate, or bachelor's degree in nursing or health profession-related fields are eligible to apply. Recipients will be expected to participate in the Presidential Honors Program.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3.5 GPA, AND meet one of the following: ACT 26, with a minimum of 19 on both English and math sub-tests, minimum overall SAT (old) score of 1200 (minimum 500 on math and reading sub-tests), minimum SAT (new) evidence-based reading and writing score of 650, minimum SAT math score of 620)
